Tidewater Tech P-40E restoration

This neat P-40E has just been restored by the folks at the Fighter Factory, an operation of Tidewater Tech in Virginia Beach, VA. The P-40E carries the warpaint of one of the "Kittyhawk" models ferried out to China in the spring of 1942. This particular model originated in Russia--one of the Lend-Lease P-40s sent there early in the war. It was brought out by way of Switzerland and restored at the Fighter Factory and in New Zealand, where apparently it made its first flights.
