This book is in its fourth printing and has sold for the same price since it was first published in 1981. It is done on the best quality paper, hardbound with color dust jacket. I reviewed the book when I wrote Flying Tigers: Claire Chennault and the American Volunteer Group but didn't put it in the bibliography because I wasn't then interested in photographs as such, and there really isn't much that's new in the text, consisting as it does mostly of quotes from published sources that I'd already exploited. But now I own a copy, and I recommend it for every serious student of the AVG Flying Tigers.

Amazon no longer sells the book, though often there are used copies for sale through its "Marketplace" listings. I recommend that you try first through ABE books:
